Postdoctoral Fellowship in Forest Ecology
The Center for Tropical Forest Science- Smithsonian Institution Global Earth Observatory
Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute and the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University
A Postdoctoral Fellow is sought in forest ecology or comparative biology of forest communities within the Center for Tropical Forest Science- Smithsonian Institution Global Earth Observatory (CTFS-SIGEO). CTFS-SIGEO coordinates a network of 46 long-term forest research programs in 21 countries. Candidates are sought in the areas of forest ecology and the evolution and biogeography of forest communities. A strong analytical background is preferred. Candidates should have an established record of research and scholarly publication in forest ecology and/or evolution. Field experience is not essential. Position will be based at the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC.
